Druggie baby...

Lila has been having these break outs of hives for the past four or five days. She woke up with another one this morning, so I decided that enough was enough and took her in to see the pediatrician. We have no clue about what she is reacting to, but the treatment is a two day course of benadryl to help calm down her system and hopefully clear out whatever is causing the hives.

The hives seem to respond well to the benadryl... and Lila is definitely on a mind altering substance. She has been "model walking" around the house and singing made up songs for the past few hours. She was sitting on our bed and sang, "One...two...three...four...five...underpants!" Then she paused and and said in a tone of confusion, "underpants?" She came into the kitchen and started singing about cinnamon rolls and that she can make them and eat them, which then turned into a song about rock n' roll and a wicked air guitar solo.  She has had us laughing so hard tonight.

Now if the benadryl will just knock her out help her sleep through the night!
