Caitlin, Patrick, Evie and I went to the Dickens' Festival today.
It was mostly shopping with some yummy fair food and people (mostly) dressed up as characters from Victorian England. The accents were also quite varied, everything from cockney and proper British, to Scottish. And the one that threw me the most, straight up pirate.
Caitlin got fish and chips, because you can't go all the way to England and not get fish and chips!
We took a carriage ride down to see Father Christmas.
But we settled for just seeing his reindeer instead.
Tonight we had our friends over for dinner and a movie night.
The kids played downstairs and did arts and crafts.
Evie showed excellent problem solving skills when her crown wouldn't stay on her head.
